Minimum System Requirements
Description of the basic computer package for e-learning
Calvary e-learning requires specific hardware and software to enable you to use all the resources on the CU Website, in the textbook, on other CD-ROM's and that may be sent to you through e-mail.
Hardware:
- In addition to the minimum processor requirements for the operating system your computer is running, most CDs require a Pentium II, 233 MHz or higher processor.
- VGA or SVGA graphics card or compatible video graphics adaptor and monitor.
- Screen resolution of 600x800, 16 bit colour quality or better.
- Minimum 20-30 MB available hard disk space.
- CD-ROM Drive.
- In addition to the RAM required by the operating system your computer is running, CDs normally require 64 MB RAM for Windows 98, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, Windows ME, and Windows XP.
- Mouse and keyboard.
- Windows-compatible printer with appropriate driver
Software:
- Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows ME, or Windows XP operating system
- Microsoft Office with PowerPoint 97 or later version, Word 97 or later version, and Excel 97 or later version
- Internet browser (Netscape 4.x or Internet Explorer 5.x or later) with modem connection is essential
- Adobe Acrobat 5.0 or Acrobat Reader 5.0 or later version
- Access to the Internet and e-mail software such as MS Outlook
