Introduction How to find your way on this e-Learning CD for study support click picture below
Roughly seven areas, each with many subdivisions, may be identified:
Course Support MaterialWe have placed all our documentation regarding the course to you and your Tutor on this CD (unless this is an initial info disk). The Tutor has his/her own CD material which contains guidance material. See example. Several Web-pages explain various aspects of the study process and linked portals give you access to a wide range of learning resources such as self-tests, PowerPoint slides, study notes, outlines and much more to help you with your studies. Of the greatest importance are two documents: the Study Guide and the Assessment Directive. Everything the Course Professor wants to communicate to you concerning the course is recorded on these pages. Information about the FacultyA few portals with pages linked to them give you all the information you need of the faculty in which this course falls under. You will also be able to look up data for the other courses, the fees and all the programme possibilities that lead to qualifications. Academic Support
Several pages were prepared to either give you technical advice or to provide links to a host of Websites on the Internet. If you are now also are doing post-graduate studies and need to write a Dissertation or Thesis, see the Guides prepared for you. Basic SoftwareThe greater part of the CD is filled with Software. We have provided you with all the basics assuming that you work on Windows. The Bible programme called e-Sword is immense and you can install as many components of this programme as you have space for on your hard drive. The other programmes are freeware and you may donate to the authors if you wish. We only selected the most useful programmes. Don't underestimate their value. You may download their newest versions yourself. The Calvary University WebsiteA selection (39 pages) of the Calvary Website has also been placed on this Course CD. Pages dedicated to other faculties have been left out. You as registered student have the privilege to make use of certain facilities placed on the Website such as a planner and CV generator. These are not on this CD since they are only available on the Website itself. For this you need your student number and you must have an operational e-mail address.
