Learning assumed to be in place before starting the first phase

In order to register, CU assumes that you can:

• Communicate in English
• Deal with basic mathematical problems
• Work with limited supervision
• Do self-study with guided support
• Work effectively as a member of a group
• Maintain a good work ethic
• Engage in critical and creative thinking
• Think contextually
• With guided support, use a library and other relevant learning resources (including the Internet) to do basic research on prescribed topics
• Manage a computer and the relevant programmes necessary to the learning process (e.g. the Internet and CD-ROM)
