Purpose

Our purpose is to train professional workers and leaders in a range of academic and vocational practical skills within the context of a Christian value system.

Mission Statement

We provide higher academic and professional education to our students from all sectors in order to equip, empower and uplift them, thus providing a service and a contribution to the local church and to the economic development of the community, to honour our Creator and for the extension of His kingdom.

Our e-learning programmes are based on uniquely balanced, broad-ranged and integrated learning objectives which are locally accessible, technically supported and financially affordable.

Aims of the Institution

  • To equip leaders, managers and professionals with a base of professional and personal skills for a lifetime of learning
  • To facilitate an affordable e-learning process which will encourage, guide, and correct learners from all social and economic backgrounds, within the context of a Christian value system
  • To develop applicable Objective Directed Learning programmes for presentation through e-learning to overcome geographic limitations to the learning enterprise
  • To recruit academically qualified and professionally trained staff of Christian character to express its academic integrity
  • To foster an atmosphere where ethical values, moral norms, and aesthetic principles are integrated in the learning process for a balanced perspective of life and a positive attitude
  • To recognize other Christian Institutions of repute and foster relationships with them to facilitate the provision and exchange of relevant academic resources

Objectives for Students

  • Have the opportunity to choose Christ as Saviour and Lord and to fulfil the great commission
  • Learn how to draw on a variety of Biblical and Theological concepts and themes to teach others about the principles and practice of servant leadership
  • Have been exposed to the art of investigating, critical and independent thinking, academic writing and public speaking
  • Be equipped to be successful as career professionals and as committed Christians to be a positive influence in society
  • Have developed a number of research-related skills applied to relevant occupations and a personal research work of value
