Assessment Procedures

How students write tests provided at the CU database

In order to write a test, a student must:

  • Be registered as a Calvary Student on the Website system
  • Be associated with a Course selected from the system for which there are tests
  • Have installed the test software programme onto his or her computer which will provide a key in order to down-load tests from the CU Website.
  • Keep to the same computer on which all tests will be written
  • Use any computer-Internet connection with the provided key to get access to the tests
  • Download the first test - this will automatically register the chosen computer onto the CU Website against the student's name
  • Open the test when ready to write the test
  • Be prepared to open the test once only
  • Take note of a limited pre-determined test time (e.g. one hour)
  • Answer the multiple choice and true or false questions until reviewed and completed
  • Close the file when the test is completed (or see the test close at the end of the allotted time)
  • Upload the generated file to the CU website
  • Expect the test to be marked and the mark to be revealed instantly

While the student is connected to the Internet the following services are available:

  • Viewing the test result (automatically displayed)
  • Viewing the history any of the student's individual courses
  • Viewing the programme history for which the student is enrolled
  • Viewing the student's personal CV as it was entered by the student and as it automatically becomes updated through earned credits
  • Downloading all the above as pdf (portable document format) files
